Items in the PJD usually have a proportional width. e.g., a Grid layout might be used where two columns are set to use 80% and 20% of the space. They also have a minimum width applied. The lists are usually an items control, or a listbox, and they add items as needed to fill the space, or apply the correct scrolling. The main layout is performed by a layout system that uses something similar to that found on blacklight. http://mightymeaty.members.winisp.net/blacklight.silverlight/

The combination of the animated layout, and the proportional layout of each panel provides the overall visual effect. Individual items are not scaled, but redraw based on space available, and the power of each machine. This is a key benefit of Silverlight and WPF that the performance of the UI will match that of the capability of the machine.

The plug-in is also set to use all the space, so fills a wide screen or a narrower UI screen resolution.

Hi,

Thanx for the reply.

While doing the screen designs in blend, what will be the base resolution?
