MedicationListView control

Jun 1, 2009 at 10:37 PM

Hi,

I am new to this group. I downloaded the msi and installed it. I am trying to create a page with the MedicationListView control. I registered CUI controls inside the Toolbox. For some reason, "MedicationGrid", "MedicationLine" and "MedicationNameLabel" are greyed-out and I can't drag and drop them in my aspx page. Please help!!!!

Thanks,

Shaik Dawood.

Hello

The MedicationsListView control is built in Silverlight and WPF, you cannot drop it straight onto an ASPX.

The solution provided in our source code includes the MSCUI website and the page containing MedicationsListView, use that as a starting point. The ASPX page hosts the Silverlight control from "Microsoft.Cui.SamplePages\WrapDataGridPageSmall.xaml" which is a Design Guidance compliant implementation of the "Microsoft.Cui.Controls\GenericGridControl\WrapDataGrid.xaml" control as a MedicationsListView.

For information on Silverlight, start here http://silverlight.net/GetStarted/

Regarding the three other controls you referred to, if you look about half way down our About page at http://mscui.net/about.aspx, you'll see those controls were deprecated in April 2008. They do not conform with the latest Design Guidance and were deleted from the MSCUI Control Toolkit.
