Exactly what is the difference between Silverlight DataGrid and MSCUI WrapDataGrid

Firstly, let me say that we started development on the Medications List before the silverlight datagrid was avialable. We delivered our Medications List when SL2 was still in Beta. If we were doing it again now, we might well look to see if we could use the Silverlight DataGrid. However, we have several features that are different from the DataGrid released with SL2. Such as :

Filtering

Filtering Warning banner

Look ahead and Look behind Scroll Views

Converters to support multi shaped data

Template samples of Guidance compliant layout of cells

Look and feel to make the Grid compliant with the guidance. The WrapDataGrid is really a Silverlight Medications List container. It is named differently as we thought we might use it in other scenarios.

Grouping Headers and counts

.. and all of this is extended upon with

Level of detail control, and the other UI artifacts on the page.
